Make sure that gas and oil are in the engine. (See engine owner's manual for oil type and fill instructions). |

Replace the oil plug located on top of the pump with the vent plug. (Select Models) |

Adjust choke prime as necessary. |

4. |
Set the engine switch to the "ON" position. |
 |
5. |
Pull the trigger on the gun (to relieve any back pressure in the pump) while pulling the engine start cord. |

6. |
As the engine warms up, readjust the choke. |
